The Benedictine nuns of San Ruggero create embroidery both for household linens and for sacred vestments and altar linens.
In addition to embroidery, we know some lace and lace techniques, such as crochet, macramé, bobbin and tatting.
In the cultural center the nuns have the opportunity to give demonstrations or even teach the art of manual weaving, an ancient art learned years ago through a professional course recognized by the Marche Region and practiced for years in the Monastery of Santa Maria delle Rose in Sant'Angelo in Pontano (MC).
In the desire not to lose the skills acquired, we procured some frames with which to show the art but, if necessary, also create products.
The products are customed to order so it takes a fair amount of time to make them.
